Chapter 1: Inuyasha your such a fool

It was winter and charismas just past in Kagome's time she didn't get, much a new bag for traveling that went around your side. It was a lot better then her old bag, it was dark green her mother said it would go nicely with the green forest. On the inside was black with many little pockets that Kagome like, she could now put little things in that she needed, on the outside of the bag was a big pouch that Kagome put her aid kit in. Next she got a few outfits one outfit she got she was all ready wearing. It was black. Open bottoms sweat panes and her sweat shirt was big and baggy. 'I know it's going to be cold there best I wear this and besides it's more convertible to run in. I better get going.' Kagome hurry packing taking the square packs of ramen she made to stacks in her new bag both with 12 so she had 24 packs of ramen. 'I hope I have enough ramen.' She also grabs two thick blankets. Running out the door she said bye to her family, grabbed her gifts for her friends and jumped down in to the well.

Looking up Kagome saw snow, pulling her self up the vines she looked over the top. She saw ... nothing. Inuyasha should have been here waiting for me. So she walked to the village. When she got inside Kaede's hut she saw her friends. "Hi everybody I have gifts for you. Kirar this is for you."

"Meow?"

It was a cat's scratch post with a board on top about a foot tall but she was very small.

"Miroku, -."

"You want to bare my child, well Kagome-ahh, oww."

"I highly doubt that." Sango gave Miroku a good whack on the head.

"Oook... here Miroku it's some kind of powder, my grandfather said was enchanted. I hope you like it."

"Thank you, Kagome, and tell your grandfather thank you too."

"Sango this is yours it's a charm that people hold on to when there waiting or hoping for someone to come back soon."

"Thank you Kagome, and thank you for thinking of Kohaku and for getting Kirar a gift too."

"Your welcome. Oh Shippou I have some thing for you too, here."

"wow thank you Kagome I love it so much I'm going to play with it right now... how do I play with ...umm what is it?"

"Its paint it has different colors see blue, red, green, yellow, lots of colors just don't mix it ok and you'll need water too."

"Kagome you look a little dark today are you ok."

"Oh, I'm fine Sango back is just a good color to take warm in. where is Inuyasha I have a gift for him to?"

"He's at the god tree he got annoyed waiting for you. Is it bad if you get paint on you?"

"No, Shippou and thanks, I'll be back."

As kagome walked to the god tree she held Inuyasha's gift. It was a heart shape locket with a picture of her in side so that Inuyasha always had some thing of her to remember. As she walked she hard a scream of Inuyasha name. She began to run. Pushing trees and bushes out of her way. Then she stopped, seeing Inuyasha and Kikyo together. Inuyasha was kissing her.

"Inuyasha you're such a fool."

"Ka-kagome, what are you, umm, I mean ... Kagome wait."

"Forget it Inuyasha." With that kagome was gone she held on to the locket. Running far away. She got to Kaede's hut running in getting her bag and was out the open door. 'I can't go home that's the first place he'll look for me.... I'll go to Kouga. He'll protect me, and he'll be more then happy to have me with him maybe this is s good time to get to know him.' Running to the mountings she tried to look on the bright side.

Kagome was sitting on a rock looking at the mounting, it was dark out and the moon was hiding behind the clouds Kagome was trying to scents if inuyasha was near or coming.

'Good, he's not coming. I hope Kouga doesn't go back to Inuyasha to kill him.' Kagome began to look up at the clouds they started move and the moon showed it's self to her. 'If Inuyasha doesn't have my heart who does?' kagome felt like she was talking to the moon. She turned her head to the side a little and began to see something it looked like a face though she couldn't make it out.

"Hey Kagome!"

"Hey sister!" Two people yelled

"Huh?"

"Hi Kagome what are you doing here all by your self?" asked Hakku

"Yeah there's demons out here." Ginta

"I was coming over just to say hi . Is that ok?"

"Yeah! It's ok come on!" Ginta replied thrillingly. "Kouga will be really pleased that you're here."

"Hey where's Inuyasha?" Hakku questioned

"Well me and Inuyasha got into a really big fight and I don't want to talk about it, ok. Anyway I came here to keep it off my mine and I haven't seen Kouga around anymore, what's been going on?" Kagome responded. They began to walk up the mounting.

"Kouga has bin looking for Naraku a lot lately were so tired, that's why were here we're taking a small brake."

"Wow, so all this time Kouga's bin looking for Naraku? Well if you guys have any wounds I'd be happy to help!"

"Well we do have a few it's no big deal we're demons" Ginta stated proudly

"Here let me see." Kagome asked as she lightly grabbed Ginta's arm. She started to look for any wounds but Ginta pulled his arm away. "Huh?"

"It's- It's all right Kagome were de-demons." Ginta stammered do wanted Kagomes scent on him if Koga were to pick it up.

"Well if you say so. Is there any water near by?" she asked

"Yeah there's a waterfall right their." Hakku pointed out

"No, some place where I can take a bath." She said

"You can take a bath here." Said Hakku not really thinking

"What are you crazy; I'm not taking a bath here in front of all of you!" Kagome yelled

"Well I think there's a hot spring some where...?"Ginta said

"Really, where...?"Asked Kagome.

"I said some where I don't know for sure but I do know that their is one." Ginta said.

"Well I'm sure I can find it. If Koga comes looking for me just tell I'll be back soon. Ok?" Kagome said as she walked off.

"Umm ok Kagome." Said Hakku

"You be careful now!" Ginta yelled.

Not to long Kagome found the hot spring it was bigger then she thought it would be, but it really didn't matter to her she just wanted to be clean.

Naraku was heading up north to finally get the two shards from Koga. That was when he picked up the sweet scent of Kagome. He stopped and sniffed a bit more, Inuyasha was nowhere near here nor was Koga. Thinking he never really had done any thing to Kagome other then playing mind tricks on her he thought this would be his perfect opportunity to really break her. Naraku headed off in her direction.

Kagome sat in the water with just a towel on, it felt good to be clean she thought as she dosed off into a light sleep. Not to long later she felt like some one was watching her. Opening her eyes she saw Naraku staring at her. Opening her mouth to scream a tentacle came over and coved it. Kagome tried to pull it off but more just came grabbing her hands, body and all. Naraku lifted her out of the water and slammed her body into a tree knocking her out.

Kagome woke up sitting in a dark room with no floor her hands were shackled to the wall but she was able to move around a bit. 'where am I' she thought. Looking at her self her towel was gone she sat on the floor with nothing on like the day she was born. She screamed. She pulled her knees up and covered her self.

"That will do no use. I have already seen all I have to give me." A voice said on the other side of the room.

"N-Naraku...." Kagome whispered. "W-What do you want." She asked huddling more into the wall, it was her only comfort.

"What I want is your power, but I may just want a little more then that now from what I'm seeing" He said smiling at her

"Stay away from me!" Kagome shouted. "Don't you dare touch me!"

"Hmm ... You know Kagome I must be honest with you, you are more lovelier then Kikyo ever was. The thing is why cant Inuyasha see that, you must hate him." He said teasing her and playing tricks on her mind.

"I would never hate Inuyasha!" She yelled.

"He says he loves Kikyo, he tells her all the time. Don't deny it." Stepping closer to her. " Inuyasha has never once said he loves you, you mite as well give up and join me" holding out his hand to her.

"Never! Inuyasha cares about-"

"Caring only goes so far. He will never be yours." Naraku was getting to her now all he had to do was seal the deal "Now if you join me I will let you live."

"And if I refuse...?" she asked.

Rushing up to her he picked her up ageist the wall. "If you refuse my offer I will take the innocent from with in you without mercy, then we will see even if the wolf will want you!" He then let her drop to the floor." Well it's your life..." Naraku left her to think about it.

'I will never give into to him, I will never betray Inuyasha, NEVER!
