Tsubaki laid next to Sesshomaru in his and Kagome's bed yet again. Her dirty hands roamed over his sculpted chest, and she laid feather like kisses on his torso. Sesshomaru laid nude and unmoving under the sheets with his arms folded beneath his head while looking at the ceiling. There was a time when it was Kagome that he made special lunch arrangements for; and after their passionate session of love making he would hold her close to him and let his hands travel over her ever-so-tempting body. He loved the way a simple glance in her direction would send his body aflame; but those times were long gone.
He had not made love to his precious Kagome in two months. Now a simple glance in her direction made him boil in anger. Now he spent his lunch sating his lust and his need for revenge in Tsubaki. He knew that Kagome and Tsubaki were never real friends, they simply put up with each other for the sake of their mutual friends.
"What time is it sexy?" Tsubaki asked while moving up and kissing Sesshomaru on his ear.
"12:30," he answered apathetically.
"Your little woman will be back soon I should get going," was Tsubaki's snide reply with a malevolent smirk plastered on her face, her comment had actually brought a similar smirk to Sesshomaru's face. She began to lift up off the bed get her clothes. Sesshomaru grabbed her arm and stopped her from getting up.
"You will remain." It was not a request, and she knew it, it was an order.
"Have you forgotten that your girlfriend is coming home, I have Kohaku to think about? He would leave me for sure if he knew about this."
"That is not my concern. I've grown tired of this charade. She's lied to me for the last time; and I have gotten mine back. Now she will leave."
"And what about me, what the hell am I going to do?" Tsubaki hissed.
"You will remain, is that not what you have wanted since we started this?"
"You mean I can stay for good?" She asked hopefully. Sesshomaru merely nodded what better way to deliver a final blow to his soon to be ex.
Finally he could hear the front door open and close. "Sesshomaru, are you home, your car's here. If I had known I would have stayed. It's been so long since you came to see me at lunch you should have told me!" Kagome shouted excitedly, running up the stairs to their room where she suspected he was waiting.
"You may start redressing now," Sesshomaru said to Tsubaki. She smiled and began to pull on her clothes.
"Maru why didn't," Kagome stopped in mid-sentence when she saw the two people before her, her smile quickly faded and was replaced with a look of sheer pain. Tears glistened in her crystal blue eyes. "Why, what did I do wrong? We were happy together weren't we?" Kagome chocked out. The look on her face made him want to scream it was a mistake, take her into his arms, and beg for forgiveness. His face remained cold and unresponsive, and he pulled himself together thinking she brought this on herself.
"It was brought to my attention that you are nothing but a lying, philandering whore. You're lies were brought to the surface by your own friends."
"That lying bitch is not my friend. I never cheated on you."
"It is not Tsubaki that I was speaking of, Kagura, Ayame, and even Sango confirmed my suspicions. Tsubaki delivered the information to me, but evidence was provided you're closest of friends."
"Sesshomaru, I don't know what's going on, but I swear I never cheated on you. I would never do that I love you." She pleaded with tears threatening to break free of her eyes. The last thing she wanted to do was show that much emotion when the 'love of her life' showed no signs of pain at all. "We've been together for two years, we can talk about this."
"There is nothing to talk about; I want you out of my house. My girlfriend is bothered by your presence in our home."
"This is my home!" Her demeanor was crumbling, and she could no longer hold in her grief. "You spent four months convincing my parents to let me move in with you, because we love each other! Why are you doing this to me?"
"This is my home, which is paid for with my money. I want you and you belongings out of my house. Tsubaki needs room to move her things in."
"Why won't you believe me? Why do you believe her over me?"
"Like I said your lies were brought to my attention by Tsubaki, but the evidence was provided by your friends." He told her coldly and for just a few minutes his cool demeanor slipped. "You did this to yourself; I would have given you everything you wanted. All I wanted was for you to be mine."
"I was," she spoke quietly. Then her hurt was replaced with anger. "All I ever did was love you Sesshomaru; and if you want to believe her lies then you're not the man I thought you were. And the evidence I need to confirm my suspicions the fact that Kohaku is your friend, but here I see you helping yourself to his girlfriend. Even if you believe the lies fed to you by that slut, why are you doing that to Kohaku? I'm not the one lying in that bed with another man for the world to see. You've made yourself nothing more than a cheating bastard that went out of his way to bed his best friend's girl, so what does that say about you?"
He was silent her words soaking in, she was right. How could he ever look at his friends again? Maybe he would reconsider moving Tsubaki in right away. She didn't need to know that.
"What the likes of you think is irrelevant. Get you're things and get out."
"Sessh could we please just talk alone for a few minutes, something happened and I think you should now."
"If it's important, then I will be informed by someone important. Now I want you out of my house."
