chapter 1 pain

Kagome was an ordinary girl. She went to high school, always did her duty, and had a high school crush. She had friends family and, like most, a secret. A time traveling well that took her 500 years back into feudal era Japan, where she would meet her companions; a female youkai-exterminator named Sango. A perverted monk, who couldn't keep his hands to himself, named Miroku. A 'too cute for his own good' little fox kit named Shippo, and of course the courageous and incredibly handsome hanyou named Inuyasha, who at this moment had a very foul mouth due to Kagome not being back yet

"Where the HELL is she?!? She was supposed to be back three nights ago!" Inuyasha yelled

"Calm yourself my friend. We are only going to give lady Kagome a little more time then we'll let you go after her." Miroku smiled at Inuyasha, who was at the time locked in a hut with all the youkai sutra's one monk could think of.

"Let me out! I'm gonna kill you Miroku, if you don't let me out. You damn bastard." Inuyasha yelled at the top of his lungs. Miroku just ignored him, Sango just kept polishing her weapon and Kirara just meowed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~With Kagome~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kagome had just hoped into the well and was welcomed back into Sengoku Jidai by the blue light that accompanied her travels. She stayed at the bottom of the well waiting for Inuyasha to come get her, but when three minutes went by with out a sighting of her friend she grabbed onto a vine and climbed up. As she reached the top the sight that greeted her was wonderful, as it was Shippo who ended up jumping on her.

"Momma, I missed you! Inuyasha has been a big fat jerk since you left." Shippo said with an innocent look on his face(if you've seen; Inuyasha movie: 1 with the food octopus you know what I mean).

"Aww, Shippo I'll get him back. Okay?" Kagome smiled "Okay Momma." Shippo smiled((oh yeah inuyasha your gonna get it big time))

As kagome and shippo walked back to the village they were met with an unlikely foe Inuyasha's youkai half brother who looked pissed. No change that he looked more then pissed. Kagome looked behind him to see a little girl lying on the ground bleeding from her side. Kagome without a second thought ran towards the little girl but was stopped when Sesshomaru growled at her, stopping her in her tracks. She stared at the youkai lord.

"Sesshomaru-sama, I must get to Rin before she bleeds to death. I have to save her." Kagome pleaded and to her surprise he moved to the side, his deep red eyes never leaving her body. She ran over to Rin, Shippo on her shoulder and put her book bag on the ground. After taking off Rin's clothes, she took out some medicine from her time. Sesshomaru growled at that and Kagome could see the unease and worry in his eyes.

"My lord, this is just some medicine from my village that will help ease the pain." Kagome said, not even bothering to look back at him. Shippo however, kept his eyes glued on the taiyoukai who at the moment was scaring the hell out of him. Kagome finished putting the bandages on Rin, now all they could do was wait for Rin to recover. She got up and looked at her clothes they were a bloody mess 'Oh well' she thought and turned her attention back to Rin. The more Kagome watched Rin, the more Sesshomaru growled.

"Human, what did you do to her?" Sesshomaru growled. Kagome turned around and looked at him.

"I put some herbs on her to help heal her faster and ease the pain. What in the world happened to her?" Kagome asked, then saw the blood running down Sesshomaru's body and she panicked.

"Sesshomaru-sama, your bleeding. May I look at your wound's as well?" Kagome asked and started to walk towards him he growled at her but she kept going towards him, he slashed at her and that made her stop.

"Sess..." he cut her off "This Sesshomaru does not need the help of a lowly human." then fell on his knees.

"Well, excuse this 'lowly human', but it looks to me like you do need my help." Kagome said and went to his side anyway. He growled at her and Kagome growled right back, surprising them both. She laid him on his back next to Rin and took of his haori and looked at his wound, he had a big gash on his left side and smaller ones on his chest. She then did the same to Sesshomaru as she had to Rin. Finishing finally by bandaging him up, as she took his bloody shirt he growled.

"Don't worry Sesshomaru- sama, I am only going to clean it." she went over to Shippo and Rin, who was putting a towel on her head, and took her clothes as well.

"Shippo watch over Rin and Sesshomaru- sama for me." Sesshomaru scuffed at the thought of a little kit protecting him and tried to get up but Kagome was at his side pushing him down.

"No Sesshomaru- sama, you need to rest don't worry he may look small but Shippo's pretty strong." she smiled and walked to the river to clean there clothes this was going to be a long day.

When Kagome walked back to camp it looked like Sesshomaru was asleep but she knew better then that. She walked over to Rin, who was over by Shippo, she looked a lot better and was not breathing hard 'Shippo did a good job' she folded the clothes by Rin, gave shippo hers and went over by Sesshomaru and folded his shirt.

"Human, why are you helping this Sesshomaru?" he asked.

"Because I don't care how much of a pain in the ass you are, its my duty to help people in need." she said then sighed it was late and she knew Inuyasha was going to come looking for her soon.

"Shippo you wait here till I come back. I'm just going to tell the others that we're helping some people who are wounded. Okay?" Kagome asked.

"Okay momma, I'll stay but hurry back Sesshomaru- sama scares me." Shippo whispered. Sesshomaru smirked but quickly hid it behind his mask.

"Alright Shippo." and with that Kagome was gone.
