It had been 5 years since Inyuasha's death. All of them were dead. Sango, the monk, shippo. All her friend's seem to drop like flies after the sacred jewel was re-covered, the horrid Naraku was defeated. Was it that relief of pain and suffering was over and they could all rest? Kagome still did not know. Though what kept her in the fudal era. She didn't know the answer to that question either. Something still drew her to this mysterious yet painful place. Nothing good had come out of her being here since day one.
With that thought Kagome looked up at the sky as a few brids flew by. As she sat at the edge of bone-eaters well. " So much for formal fair-wells." Kagome said aloud to her self half-hearted. A pain still lingered in her heart. After loseing everyone she knew and cared about disapear.
Kagome usually came here not only to remeber the past. But to think. She found solitude with the sun at her back and the cool breeze brush by her softly. Kagome was now 20 years old. Her features did change some-what. Her hair not just the odinary black but had a tint of brown and soft copper tint added in.
After Inuyasha's death along with Kikyos and the rest. She so much wanted to change any thing she could that reminded him of HER! Yeah so if she was that woman's reincarnation. She wanted to put a major void on her looks. But her green eyes were the same along with her facial features. She was a few inches taller then before. And more athelically built.
Kagome was dressed in a pair of white jogging pants that flaired over white tennis shoes with red soles. Above that she wore a green tank top that revealed trimmed tanned shoulders and a slight muscular arms. Her hair she wore in two french braids. That had yellow rubber bands. Along with everything else she wore plain gold studs in her small ears. She even decided on getting a tattoe on one for-arm. It was a sun with a face added. But the whole size of it was nothing more than of a half-dollor coin.
Golden eyes watched this woman silently. He had always knew when she would show up. He never would bother her. He seemed to enjoy watching her. The woman known as Kagome. After his younger-half-brother's death along with everyone he traveled with he became master of his brother's sword. He could never use it of course and gave up trying long ago. Instead he kept it for safe keeping. He had thought this mortal woman would die along with them. If not physically then mentally. Course why he even cared weather a useless mortal lived was beyound him. He simply enjoied watching her. Something drew him near her. Of course Sesshoumaru cursed himself for letting a mortal woman intice him as much as kagome did. And wondered if he was more like his father then he had thought. Lord Sesshoumaru shifted where he knelt watching the woman, where his foot had broken a few twigs. A low growl rummbled in his throat as saw Kagome's head whip around cautiously. And heard her command. " Who's there?!"
