An Injured Prince...

"SIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kagome screamed as tears ran down her cheeks.

With a loud thud, an angry hanyo crashed to the floor.

Kagome turned away and ran out of the hut,her vision blurry from her tears.

Her friends tried to stop her,but Kagome just swatted their friendly hands away.

*Jerk!!* she thought furiously as she ran to who knows where.

Kagome ran until she thought she would die,then she sat down and leaned against a tree.

*I can't believe it! How can he be so insensitive?* Kagome thought,more tears running down her cheeks.

Kagome furiously wiped them away and looked around.

*uh,oh....*

Kagome was in unfamiliar territory.The trees seemed like creeping strangers,every flower looked unfamiliar,every bird like a criminal.

Kagome gulped. *Exactly how far did I run?* she thought,searching her memory for any clue but came up empty.

The whole time she had run seemed like a blurr. She hadn't looked where she was going,just ran.

Kagome sighed and decided to get herself out of this horrible mess.

*Inu yasha probably won't come looking for me for a while..* Kagome thought glumly. *He probably thinks I went home...*

Then something accured to Kagome. *Why didn't I????*

Kagome sighed once more. Life was unfair,cruel,and confusing. As Kagome slowly walked,she looked around at the scenery.

It wasn't so bad once you got used to it.

As Kagome walked,she remembered the horrible thing Inu yasha had said to her. The truth,that she had feared was true....was true.

Kagome sat quietly in the hut,thinking about things."Oy,Kagome."

Inu yasha said,motioning her.

"HM?" Kagome asked,only half listening.

"Let's go! We gotta look for the shards!" Inu yasha said,very annoyed.

"Inu yasha," Kagome started patiently" Can't we go later? I'm really tired." Kagome pleaded,giving him her best pitifull look.

Inu yasha growled. "No! We must go NOW!" he said through clenched teeth.

Kagome sighed and grumbled about how unfair Inu yasha was. Inu yasha,with his keen ears, obivously heard this.

"I'm not unfair!!!" he yelled,anger boiling inside him.

"Damn you girl! Don't you know how important the shards are????!!! Don't you know the importance of our quest?!" Inu yasha shouted in her face.

Kagome glared at him,she was sick of hearing the same old lecture over and over and over again!

"Well what if I don't go?" Kagome asked,trying a new approach.

Inu yasha was taken aback,then recovered. "ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" he screamed,his face red with fury.

"GOD DAMN B****!" he cursed on the top of his lungs when Kagome just stuck out her tongue at him.

The group (NOT including Kagome) tried calming Inu yasha down,but Inu yasha just pushed them aside and glared at Kagome.

Kagome fought the urge to smirk.Even though she wasn't acting like herself,Kagome WAS tired. But,she was just having too much fun!

Inu yasha saw Kagome's eyes dance with triamph,he felt his anger grow larger by the minute.

Inu yasha clenched his fists as rage for the teenage girl increased tremendously.

"B****! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE ONLY GOOD AS A SHARD DETECTOR?! IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE THAT POWER,OR THIS SPELL ON ME,I'D KILL YOU IN A SECOND!!!" Inu yasha shouted without thinking.

But the moment he saw Kagome's face,he knew that he had made a BIG mistake.

"um..Kagome..um..I didn't mean-" Inu yasha started as he saw Kagome's tears streaked face.

She was shaking slightly as she looked at him with pained eyes.

"SIIITTTT!!!!!!" Kagome screamed,and ran out of the hut.

Kagome sniffled as she remembered the event.

"Inu yasha..." she whispered quietly. That was all she was to him....A shard detector... She had suspected this all along...And he had confirmed it.

Kagome felt fresh tears stream down her cheeks as her heart ached.

Then,she heard a growl. It was so faint,you could hardly hear it,but it was a growl alright.

Kagome gasped and hid behind a tree,afraid.

She didn't have any weapons at all! What if a demon came and attacked her?

Kagome heard that growl again and a pained noise. *Wait a minute...That growl sounds familiar...*

Kagome peeked from behind her tree and gasped.

Lying on a big boulder was a badly injured.....Sesshoumaru.
