Yep Kagome wanted to be normal and normal is not for a daiyokai so do the impossible do as you wish.

It seems Sesshomaru didn't want the role of prince otherwise he'd be happy but for some reason I think Sesshomaru doesn't want it.  why?

At least Kagome is learning how things went down and what happened to her father something her own mother would not tell her.  Wonder what more Kagome could learn with her powers or is it something else entirely.
