I love the story. This chapter had me a little confused though. Is the string or spider web from the monster causing the fever? Or eating Sesshomaru somehow?? And if Kagome managed to push the monster back into the water is the spider web still attached to Sesshomaru? Why didn't Shippo wake up? For that matter if the monster was so close to camp why hasn't it attacked sooner when Shippo was making all of those runs to get water? Sorry, I don't want to detract from the fact that this is a great story. I am looking forward to more! :)

Thank you so much for the update. I'm excited and impatient for the time when he awakes with a clear head and the fun begins between them. Shippo has evidently forgotten his last thoughts right before he fell asleep. Hopefully when Sesshoumaru does wake up, Shippo will be very talkative and innocently tell him all that Kagome did to protect him. That will indebt him even more to Kagome thereby strengthening their bond.

I am totally intrigued...I can't wait for more chapters. You have a great beginning here and having Shippo be the one to help Kagome understand what's going on is great. He's such an underused character in most fics unless he's grown up or is in AU/Kagome's time fics. I'll be looking forward to the next update. JEN

I wasn't going to read this fiction, but my fingers had a mind of their own and it decided to click on yours. I would like to say that I am quite glad that I went along with it and began reading your ficton. It did not bore me and held my attention to this very chapter. I did not skim or read it very fast but it was read with the words thorougly pronunciated and in medium paced. I even went back and re-read some of your lines because I like how the story line is going. I would like to tell you that your story is quite original and different from many I've read. The "growing" idea is spectacular, it is new and only held my attention even more for no other story talks about Sesshoumaru's growing stages. This is another insight to get to know Sesshoumaru even better. I love it most when you include the implications of the growing stages, the "two tail" and giving a part of himself to someone he deeply cherish(a mate). It is wonderful and your ideas are well thought out. I'll give it a thumbs up and mostly look forward to your next installment, which I hope is pretty soon.

I'm excited about this story! I love the plot and the way she's caring for him is so sweet. I'm fascinated with this new youkai way of "aging". Unlike Shippo, I know what imprinting is. I can't wait for Kagome to find out. haha. I wonder how she's going to react when his new tail wraps itself around her.
