I just love Kagome's irrepressible nature. Her Q&A with Sesshomaru was hilarious. Favorite color indeed. He-he-he. Even though she thoroughly annoys the heck out of him, the gradual thawing of his icy nature is evident.

What I really admire about your story so far is the very slow buildup of the relationship between Kagome and Sesshomaru. This gradual progression makes their uneasy alliance and eventual romance believable.
Both Kagome and Sesshomaru are perfectly in character. The poor girl having to deal with the cold demon lord on her own. I love your description. '...the great lord of the west was quickly proving to Kagome that he was the most unsociable creature in all of japan. Possibly the whole planet.'

While I'm glad we finally have Kagome and Sessh together, it's kind of sad that Izanagi (he's such a pompous twit - reminds me of Hugh Laurie's king in Blackadder) will be gone from the scenes. He's really funny character. In the meantime, Sesshomaru's blase reaction towards his and Kagome's sudden appearance is priceless
So, now onto the search for Izanagi's sword!

Anyway, back to your writing, it's clean, great dialogue, spot on characterization, and best of all its funny! I love the Jaken-Rin interaction. Onto the chapter 1!

| So, I don't usually review, because I'm a lamer like that. >.>
However! I really enjoy this story and I felt that it deserved to be reviewed! So here we go! I just finished reading what you have out last night, and I have to say, I'd really like to read more. I enjoy the humour that you using throughout the story and Kagome makes me laugh. I also kind of like how you portray Sesshoumaru. Despite how long he's been alive, he is still around 19ish (if I'm not mistaken) and some times the way he thinks is just like a 19 year old boy. Like how he wondered if his mokomoko-sama/pelt-thing would smell like Kagome, that struck me as something that fit his age very well.
Also: Izanagi makes me smile. Just sayin'. Best god ever.
Please update soon, I can't wait to keep reading!

| Your story is great :) This Sesshomaru I like. He is believeable, maybe a little bit to kind and gentle at later chapters but still very possible to happen. Kagome is also very well done. Sometimes strong and sometimes weak (human?), well behaved and smart and fun. There is a nice dynamic between then and yet you managed to do it without this rude, obnoxious bickering routine where Kag is often cursing and being like a spoiled brat.
I love it. Definitelly your fan.
I hope there will be more Soon (the word soon is the important one ;) )

| Gah!!! When I first started reading it, I thought it was finished! TT.TT So Sad.
ANYWAY! This story is amazing. Even in the very beginning I was cracking up. You do that one kind of thing where Sesshoumaru starts to puzzle over his feelings but you actually explain why! and it's great (only ever been around his mom & Rin in terms of females)! And I love how when one is feeling a little...tortured, the other one is focused on something else! And I especially love this last little bit where he's holding her in his lap. So cute and exciting! I definitely can't wait until the next chapter comes up!
