ROFLMAO. *tearsgasp* I'm having a hard time getting over your wonderful humor. I love how you've personified and personallized the characters! That, and you've got a knack for voicing the stray off-handed thoughts that've passed through my mind at some random point in time while reading/watching Inuyasha. OMG- I had to take a break from my comp I was giggling so hard that my roomies thought I'd finally lost it- especially when you mentioned how you thought Rin might be that strange child that sits in the back of the room and eats paper. n_n  I'm addicted to this story, and I thank you so so much for sharing!

*le sigh* I was just wondering about this piece and longing for an update and viola! There's one there!! And I loved it, too. Kagome's reactions and Sesshoumaru's thoughts, so intriguing and drawing. And now Inuyasha is entering the picture...

Lol... I have to say that I loved this chapter the most so far. Actually I think I just love Kagome's line of thought. Lol. Great job.

Oh!! TOO GOOD!! One of the funniest chapters yet. "Stupid dog! Stupid, stupid dog!" That's right Kagome. Get it out, get it ALL out! I can totally see her standing there shooting arrow after arrow into the tree as she mumbles and rants about what an ass Sesshoumaru is. What a scene! "Oh, it was him." She's so mad she can't even say his name in her mind! I can understand that. Where does he get off saying she doesn't smell so bad as long as she stands down wind? It's his damn fault she hasn't been able to bathe. Excuse her for not being a youkai! She needs one of those dog whistles so she can blow it all damn day to get back at him! "Still...she was powerful, and power - true power - was perhaps one of the few things that held his respect." At least he's willing to admit that there are things about her he admires and respects. With his stuck up attitude it's amazing he can come down off that high horse to admit anything good about her. "Well, unless the tree decides to retaliate, I'm pretty sure this isn't a battle," Ah...sarcasm even when she's down. I really liked this line. With so little effort she's still giving him what for! Cheers for Kagome! "It was honorable, he realized. She was honorable." The break through! The first true break through that he's shown towards him recognizing Kagome has far more to her than he gives her credit. For someone like Sesshoumaru to be able to admit that a human, even if it is Kagome, has honor is a big step. You're starting to break through that hard shell he has built around himself. Way to begin the treck towards love. I like the steady progress here. "Youkai are not people," he pointed out, his brow furrowing just a little in his confusion. Kagome shrugged. "They are to me." I love this part. It's so simple...but so powerful. "Youkai are not people...They are to me." He's trying to show the vast differences he sees between them, and she shows there is no difference. Kagome so eloquently points out that all living things are the same because their alive. It's their actions that make them different. "...he was not sure if that was the wisest, or the stupidest thing he had ever heard her say." Most philosophical things are like that. Great passage. Beautifully done. "You protect those who are defenseless, you fight for the lives of those who cannot fight for it themselves. That is how you help people in this time, miko. You should take pride in the strength that allows you to do this...Take pride in what you do, or do not do it at all." He didn't have to be so cold about it and his manner could be more open, but his words ring true. Not to mention this is him once again opening himself up a little bit more. The cracks are beginning to form...I can't wait to see what happens when the real breakdown begins! "And your aim is not entirely unfortunate, miko..." Wonderful! I love how your story is heavy and light at the same time. The humor you interject into your plot is a major draw for the story. I find myself waiting for your updates just so I can read what little quips our two soon to be love birds will have. Shigeru interests me. I wonder how he intends to push them apart. They both are very driven and determined people, and seeing as how they have a goal I don't see how this guy will be able to get them apart. Even if they can't stand each other. I'm intrigued. I'm VERY intrigued. Sorry it took me so long to review. I was out of the country for awhile and the last few days of my trip were hectic. I'm back now and I am eagerly awaiting your next update! Thanks for the shout out too. Made me feel all warm inside! P.S. I said it once and I'll say it again....I can't believe you're only 17! You're going to be a great writer one day!

Great chapter! I know I'm late in reviewing, but I was goofing off. I do that a lot.  Kagome was hillarious as usual, and I like the interaction between her and Sesshoumaru. I like the advice he gave her.

And uh-oh! That Shigeru is going to be trouble, I just know it!! Hooligan indeed!! Oh well, it makes for some delicious drama! I look forward to it! Lastly, thanks for the shout-out!! *huggles*

 

Wow, Sesshoumaru certainly had ALOT to say in this chapter. LOL! And he's finally seeing something of worth in our little miko... :-) I can't wait to see what shenanigans Shigeru has planned and Kagome's reactions were so...Kagome. Good job keeping everyone in character.

I find this story so far very amusing (among other things of course). Kagome's thoughts to herself are funny, forcing me many times to laugh aloud. This story is well written and I can't wait for more.

Another fascinating two chapters! I really wish I could give you more than the fact that I'm supremely enjoying this fic, but the words they are a failing me right now. Wonderful job, TWLOAP. <---- Wow. What a nickname...

"Don't kick the demon." Probably a good idea. I loved the flashback scene. Provides depth to Sesshoumaru's character. I like how at the beginning of this chapter Sesshoumaru is practically pouting. It's funny when mighty DaiYoukai's feel sorry for themselves and whine about their circumstances. Kagome is starting to make an impact on Lord Sexy, he's just to obtuse to see it. So I'm going to be patient and eagerly await your next update. Wonderful story and filled with lots of intrigue. Two thumbs up! Way up!

It just keeps getting better and better! The banter between Sesshoumaru and Kagome was wonderful in this chapter. I love how Kagome keeps after Sesshoumaru, forcing him to interact with her, pushing his buttons again and again to get a rise out of him."She wouldn't shut up. Sesshoumaru had glared at her and scowled at her, but still she persisted. She was driving him mad." Hell yeah! Keep at it Kagome. Don't stop until he's pulling his hair from his head! He is starting to warm up to her though. I don't think he's going to notice that she's starting to mean something to him until she's in danger. At least he was willing to lead her to a human village.

"That stick must've been really wedged up there." Ain't that the truth! If it were any farther up there it would be poking out the side of his mouth! I'm really liking the interaction between Kagome and Sesshoumaru. He really needs to be knocked off the pedestal of his, and Kagome is just the one to do it! I'm so proud of Kagome for sticking it out and working through her pain to prove a point to Sesshoumaru. He needs to have his opinions of humans reevaluated, and if he's not willing to do that on his own then Kagome can force him!

"He had always just figured she was not quite right in the head." He would think that wouldn't he the big jerk! This chapter was funny. I can just picture Kagome following after Sesshoumaru and bugging him with question after question. Talking his ear off and trying to annoy him to no end. I can imagine what Sesshoumaru looked like when Kagome tripped and he was looking down at her. Condescending bastard. Anyways Shigeru sounds interesting. I'm guessing that Kagome is the one that will make him feel complete and he's going to try and kidnap her to add to his "collection".
