I was so hurt to here a fav author had died. I was so in shock I just couldn't believe it so I searched for more info and here is what I found. According to Texanlady's fellow beta Nycsnowbird (for her story's not sess and kag related) the author is alive. She was able to find her with help from others. Posted about it on October 2019 on a blog they share, Nyc has shared that once she is emotionally able she will be taking down their blog site. Maybe one day TL will write again.

But things are really starting to get moving! Thank goodness Inuyasha found out about Kikyou’s evil deeds. Hopefully soon Sesshoumaru will figure out that he needs to treat Kagome with respect for her boundaries. Poor Kagome :( 

I know it’s been a while since you’ve updated this story, but I really want to see how they work through everything that’s happened in the end. I hope one day you’ll continue!

Please don't give up on this story! I know it has been a few years, but goodness gracious the ansgt is heavenly and I think this is by far one of the most canon depictions of Shesshoumaru's cruelty. What a fantastic fic and I'm so disappointed that it is incomplete. If you have any muse at all left for these two, I know us readers will gladly throw a party for an update!

So I was re-reading this wonderful story, and happened to stop to ponder this tiny detail in chapter 4. If someone has any further information or theory on this, I'd love to read it!

"Well it is not necessarily a drawback to Kagome, but it will affect Kikyo greatly....she will never be able to bear children.[...]

Because she is not supposed to exist.  Kikyo's time has passed and while you will be able to restore her to life with Tenseiga fate will not allow her to alter the timeline by creating offspring that should not be.  The fact remains she died...she bore no children in life and she was never meant to.  Her existence in this world is unnatural and as such she will never be a true woman.  You will be able to give her breath, to make her heart beat, but you cannot give her a destiny.  She will never have purpose."

So does that mean that anyone Sesshoumaru brings back to life with Tenseiga, will never be able to have any further children of their own? Rin died in her childhood, but Sesshoumaru resurrected her. Better yet, the second time she died it was Sesshoumaru's mother who brought her back to the land of the living. So is Rin now super duper infertile?

My one theory on this could be that wether the one who died will end up infertile or not (after Tenseiga revives them) depends on the time they remained dead. Like there is some kind of timespan for the soul of a dead person to wander in the world of the living, before a soul collector of some sort finds them and delivers them to the netherworld/hell/heaven/I dunno. Once the soul (or majority of it) has been delivered out of the living world it can still be resurrected, but the ability to get children is lost the moment the soul enters the afterlife. If the reviving happens while the soul is still wandering in the living world, the person/creature can still get biological children. Does that sound plausible?

Sorry this comment grew up to be this long, and on a subject that doesn't necessarily mean anything in the story in a long run no less. Sometimes I just get stuck with the tiniest, the most unremarkable details. XD

Okay just found a blog post from a year ago that says you have been ill. Which makes me feel like an ahole for typing in my last review to at least post an update your alive so please ignore that. I dont know how accurate the blog is but if its true then thats absolutely a terrible ordeal. I really hope you have gotten better and are all healed up now. I pray you are back on you farm with your animals living life and writing your next book or whatever makes you most happy. Thankyou for writing so many interesting and entertaing stories and hope to see more from you. 

I want to know what happens in this story so bad. I have so many questions. Is Kagome going to escape in some way? I know you said Sesshomaru will be getting his and I want to know so badly how that happens. Its been a very very very long time since the last update and I was also a fan of your True Blood fic and I also know you write your own original pieces so I know you got a lot on your plate. I really hope you come back some day. Even if its a quick update to say you are alive. 

As many times as i have read this story i still find it so fascinating please come back and finish or atleast an update about  how the story is coming along it would be most welcomed

Sadly, I find myself hard pressed to fault Sesshomaru entirely for the way he sees the world.  You have made this alpha dog into a sheep in wolf's clothing. He may believe he leads but he is a follower to the societal roles at the time through and through. I do not condone the actions, but his actions have begun to show that his thoughts are corrupted.

This story has been a very interesting read. I'm only sad that it is not finished as it leaves me wanting for more. I do wish that you'll come back to this story and complete it. I truly wish to know how it ends.
