I just reread the author's note, you stinker!  You have a second and half a third chapter?! Please don't hold out on us! Even if you don't want to continue the story maybe consider just putting what you already have up?  Just so we can see where you were going with it? :) 

PLEEEEEASE UPDATE! I'm seriously not above begging- this is absolutely fantastic!  I've probably read it 10 times during the last year and a half and no matter what, I always get teary!  It's such a great plot and written so wonderfully!

I just read this for the 3rd time and  I still get teary. Goodness. You could leave like you have, but I would really prefer if you didnt. 

This is a great story~!  It is beautifully written, though very sad and bittersweet.  I'd like to wrangle Sesshomaru in this chapter for bending to the will of his court rather than to his heart.  Perhaps living for a while without Kagome will make him realize what a stupid mistake he's made.  I enjoy the fact, though, that neither character is portrayed with flawless personalities.  The flaws in their personalities make each of them a bit more relatable.  Great work and I can't wait to read more of this story!  I hope you can find it in your hard drive soon~!

Heartbreaking isn't it, Kagome is forced to leave because her love just told her the children they have will not be good enought to be the heir. Wonder since they we're intimate before Kagome left will she become pregnant will a full youkai?? No one knows what the child of a Miko and demon lord would be. It would make an interesting twist.

Kagome not going back because Sesshomaru didn't love her enough to love the child/children they would create together, and not care what everyone else would think. Sesshomaru going crazy because he would look for her everywhere but never truly find her.

Would Sesshomaru even consider doing what his mother wants him to do because Kagome is gone? How can he even think that Kagome would be alright with being second best? Didn't he realize that is what happened with Inuyasha? That Kagome was second to Kikyo. What made him think she would put herself through that again?

Great start cannot wait for what happens next. Update when you can.
