it truly is a bittersweet ending, and a much different twist to the normal romance than i would have figured. lovely piece; thank you for taking the time to write it.
I would love reading something related to this. Perfect ending, by the way. I loved it <3 <3 <3 <3 !!! Yeah, so they stayed friends!!! It's so much better sometimes like that... besides, he's married :P
Anyway!!!
Just wanna say that I really liked it ^^
Hope you do something new :*
xoxo
Well written, sweet, and I loved it, along with the ending. I'm glad you chose the ending you did. It strayed away from the norm and made it bitter-sweet
Thank you!

Samantha (Chapter 10) - Sat 14 Aug 2010
I am not happy at all with this ending. I loved the story itself but I'm so upset with the ending I had to tell you how I felt. I don't want to affend or upset you but I just need to vent about this. I felt that the ending was unrealistic and leaves room to open up a totally different can of worms. I feel that with Kagome's suicide attempt she should have come away with a certain amount of wisdom and a more logical approach to her feelings for Sess. He is a married man and its obvious he is not going to leave his family so she needs to move on. And even though Sess does reciprocate her feelings in the end his family is getting shafted. If he is going on 'dates' with Kagome that is taking away time with his family and plus he can't experience a full range of affection with his wife with Kagome taking part of his love for herself. And that is what upsets me most. You did a wonderful job with this fic obviously because I feel so strongly about the last chapter that I have to leave you this review. lol My review is just my opinion and you can end your works as you please. You did an awesome job and keep up the good work.
Yayyyy you finally finished it!!! I actually really thought the ending was cute. The whole last chapter was great. I vote 110% for a sequel story set a little ways in the future I would most definitely read it!! Great Job on this one!!!

Noacat (Chapter 10) - Sat 14 Aug 2010
Lovely. The end was lovely and perfect and I don't think you could have done it any other way. I love that it doesn't have the perfect everyone-gets-want ending and screw consequences. In a way, it's a triumphant ending for Kagome. Sure, she can't be with the one she loves right away, but the strides she's made to conquer her illness is amazing. Pat yourself on the back, you did a great job and I'm SO glad that you decided to share this with us. As for a sequel, I wait with baited breath.
Someone too lazy to log in (Chapter 10) - Sat 14 Aug 2010
Sorry, this is going to be a bit of a long review, but I feel I must ABSOLUTELY review this story. Hell yes, I would read a sequel to this story! It was absolutley WONDERFUL! What a cute yet mature story line! However, there were some spots (espicially the confession scene) where is seemed you just wanted the scene to be over with. The confession seemed a little chesesy to me, and a bit long. Usually if someone were to say ALL that, most people stop them before the people he/she was confessing to is weirded out completely. Your knowledge of Japan and it's various districts and culture ticks is very extensive! You either did some VERY good research, or you yourself lived in Japan for a while. But sometimes I felt that you were giving out more information about various districts, and cultural things than nessessary. The discription of places seemed to drag sometimes. Not all of the time, just some. And there were things you mentioned that I had no idea what you were talking about. Maybe a discription of terms at the end of the chapter? For an AU you kept Kagome very well portrayed even though you gave her various mental disabilities. I think it was the journal enteries you created that kept her in character so well. As far as Sesshoumaru, I think you did well, but because of his character in this story he seemed too.... warm to be Sesshoumaru. Usually (from what I gather) he shows his humanity in the manga/anime through the silent acts he does. More so than the vocal ones you gave him. But overall a wonderfully well written story, and I felt I had to give it a full review because I really think your stories could be up there with the best writers here on dokuga, if your not up there already! I see your potential and I hope you continue to write sess/kag stories. LOTS more of them! If given the chance I would definately nominatee this story for a quarterly award here. Probably as best A/U or best drama.
I loved this story! I would really like to read "the second story based off of tis one!" I thought it was really sweet.
Have a great week!

Bre (Chapter 9) - Fri 16 Jul 2010
Oh and also I do in a backwards way like that you are writing this story in real life situation way. There is a very real possiblity that something like this can happen. I look forward to see how sess handles this. I noticed no body else commented on this point. Its sad but it could really happen.
Bre (Chapter 9) - Fri 16 Jul 2010
This is so sad. I almost wish she had died so she wouldn't have to deal with the aftermath of finding out she is alive and still can't be with sesshomaru. Like someone else said in the review, sess seems to have a good life with a family so it would be really weird and not right if he suddenly leaves his family for her. I'll keep reading tho cause I'm curious of how this will play out. Look forward to the update.
and the wife??? the daughter???? the whole "I'm married, can't be with ya" ???!?!?!?!??!!!!!!
O_O!!!!!!!!
Uggghhh.... please update soon x_x
Thank goodness they found her! I was really worried that all they were going to find was a body. She's awake so the question is what happens now? She obviously needs some therapy will Sesshoumaru help her through that? He does seem to care about her but I wonder what he is going to do about that? He doesn't seem to have a bad marriage so I can't see him just up and leaving for no reason. I don't think it will help Kagome if he just tries to be her friend. She'll just think of everything that happened and it will be counter productive to her recovery. I really hope you update soon I'm dying to find out what happens next! Best wishes as always!!
Noacat (Chapter 8) - Sat 10 Jul 2010
Poor Kagome. I wonder if she went to Aokigahara, the famous suicide forest in Tokyo?
Uh oh...I have a really bad feeling right now. I was actually crying quite hard at the end of this chapter. Even if she's okay and he finds her I think it'll be worse for her. Really what can he do for her except be her friend and I don't think she could even handle that at this point. I really hope she hasn't done something bad. Hopefullly she checked herself into a center or something that can help her. Now I'm going to dangle some serious bribery treats here for an update as soon as possible!! *huggs*
