“Oh. Yes, of course. Thank you.” The man bowed and left him, backing away. Alone, staring up at the curtains behind which the emperor’s shape sat, Tamenori licked his agreement off his lips and approached six further steps, then dropped to his knees and pressed his forehead against the floor, waiting for acknowledgment.

“You’ve returned.”

YES!!! Words... and they MUST GO ON! They beg, cry, demand to be given free rein!! Ah, and such a wonderful accumulation of the words. Again, you do not disappoint, no matter how long we must wait. Srsly, though, great chapter, love seeing the human side & what's going on there. Can't hardly wait to see moar, but chair sleeping is not the goodness with which to craft more words. Thank you & Mr. Lyra for this goodness on a night when I sorely needed an escape!

woohoo! Another chapter! I was wondering what the emperor and his dudes were up to and why there was a yokai in the guard. Some answers here and many more questions!

Well this is a lot longer and more twisty than I had expected when I started it! Kudos my dear for keeping at it for so long. I hope you will actually finish this one day.

Look at that! Shippo and Miroku are being influences already. At this rate, by two months, the kid will be speaking. He sounds adorable in this form too, by the way. Looking forward to a family dinner and cuddle time. And I can't wait to hear about that shadow guy. He's a link to Hoshishi and the Emperor, so that's terrible news for our couple.

omg! Masamitsu is the cutest thing! Happy that he got his mothers' looks as well as his fathers'. Its so cute to see Sesshoumaru so proud of his son. And it looks like the kids are fast friends, lovely! I think Sesshoumaru will come to like Miroku, not just b/c he's Kagome's friend and trustworthy around her, but I think he'll come to appreciate him as a friend and ally. At the very least, he'll provide much amusement until he gets the hang of being yokai. hahahaha!

I want to know about shadowy person too! And thank you for the update! I look forwards to more ungainly Miroku. 

As always, I bow before your work ethic and creativity... and ability to create WORDS! Such wonderful, meaningful WORDS!! The germs have come calling here as well and I have been borderline walking pneumonia for a week now. The hubby is making me work but the kids are threatening to take me to a hospital. Glad I got away from both long enough to enjoy this bit of goodness before they could do either! Now, need moar sleepies, liquids, fever-reducers & such... hope you feel better soonest!!
