Lovely flashback to their first meeting. I like your depiction of a confused, bumbling, blushing Kagome and Sesshoumaru's quiet observation of her before coming to rescue the damsel in distress. Good touch with her losing her bagel, lol, as if the poor girl didn't have enough problems!  I think it just right that you show her baffled by the help being offered by the elegant Sesshoumaru, why would such a lofty being help an unknown random student. As always you capture the subtle nuances so well. I liked this very much.

"He looked strong and unbelievably masculine, but he just wasn't hers. "

I like how you show Kagome here, that while not remembering Sesshoumaru, she is not afraid of  him either. I am glad you didn't go to that extreme. It is a nice subtlety also that while also not remembering her home she does feel comfortable in it's atmosphere when she arrives there. I am so liking this, happy sighs all round.

You've portrayed Kagome's confusion well here. It certainly would be a big ask to have someone wake up and believe all sorts of random things as told by a complet stranger. I particularly like your excellent choice of the word "plucking" here. It perfectly encapsulates that fretful nervousness that would be present, " plucking at her paper hospital gown", that phrase has really captured my imagination. You do know you're brilliant, don't you?

Well here lies a problem. Amnesia! Poor Sesshoumaru, it must be painful to think that your wife doesn't know you and all the good times you've had together. I like how you have made it so realistic by having Kagome not able to remember some things, rather than a blanket "remembers nothing". I particularly like the subtle drama of the last line,

"The doctor said nothing."

It was an enigmatic and slightly disturbing way to end. I think you have become quite skilled in leaving your readers delightfully dangling waiting upon your next words. Well done.

I love your idea. I think it would be sweet to see Shesshoumaru and Kagome grow together again from the car accedent. The flashbacks are also an awesome idea. It shows what Kagome and Sesshoumaru had and how much work they have to do to get back to their original relationship.

Poor Sesshoumaru, sitting watch by Kagome's bed worrying. I can picture him sitting there frowning with anxiety. Just as I start to feel happy when Kagome wakes up you exquisitely twist the reality again.

"Then, just as he thought everything was going to be alright, she said, "You're my doctor."

He could practically feel the ground slipping from beneath his feet."

Oh no, what a potential utter disaster. I think that you are becoming queen of the cliffhanger quite nicely. I am looking forward greatly to the story unfolding with many  a twist and turn, and I know you give your readers many a treat yet!

More loveliness to read from your wonderful imagination. This story starts well with the happy pair celebrating his birthday. Innocent enough occasion. I love the following pair of lines, you can feel the warmth between them...

"It's such a beautiful night." Kagome sighed as they pulled up to a red light and stopped. "Not a beautiful as you." Sesshoumaru murmured, turning to look at her with a crooked smile"

...so nice, wish I was Kagome!

and then, the cliffhanger of the car accident. Well done, can't wait to read on. Thank you once again.
