Ok so I've been reading this all day... To the point where I've gone past my bedtime with it lol. Awesome story, though I totally thought it would be over with the defeat of Naraku, I'm glad it's not. also I'm kind of bummed that there's no more for me to read right now (even though I'm supposed to be sleeping lol) can't wait to read more and this is totally going into my faves!!

Every time I see an email in my mailbox telling me you have posted yet another chapter of this story, I practically squee in excitement. I've really been enjoying this one! Your note at the end saying you were going to be posting more on a semi-daily basis really made my day!

That said, my dear Hatter, I love your writing, so very much, but I don't know if you have the services of a good beta reader? As as writer myself, and someone who did editing for a living, I stumble on the occasional missed word or two (really, that's the only errors I'm catching regularly, your spelling is spot on and your punctuation pretty well covered!) and it throws me off the story for a moment. If you don't have one, I highly recommend finding someone willing to just read through and spot those. I know when you're writing and when you read something over and over, it is easy to miss them because your brain fills in the blanks. God knows I've done it myself! Anyway, just a suggestion - and only for the editing bits, because your writing is excellent! You have an excellent grasp of story flow and pacing, and your characterizations are nicely rounded. I'm never bored with what I'm reading and I eagerly anticipate the next bits!

Riding like the wind!! Oh, how I love those scenes! I could just picture Kagome and that beautiful Stallion racing arcoss the fields all cares and worries floating away! I also adored that scene whan all the children called her Mama you could tell how much that simple word met more to her than all the moon and stars combined! But my favorite is the author's note saying you'll be posting more of this story daily! Is is still Christmas? Because it feels like I'm still gettinng presents!

Nice to see Kagome adapting so well to the court life... And interacting with Sess and his allies. I'm greatily antecipating Resshin/Nanmei mating! 

Nice to see Kouga in the position of lord... But I have bad feelings about Touran. I think she's up to something, possibly involving a certain taiyoukai... humph!

Thanks for updating, this is one of my favourite stories here. I have a feeling that Nanmei is an ancestor of Kagome but I might be wrong. Just blue or any color besides brown or grey eyes are a rarity in Asia especially at that time. Now with interbreeding it´s not so rare anymore. So she could be an ancestor. Maybe.

Resshin sounds really awesome, tree youkai are really interesting even if only Bokuseno was shown in the Manga. That such a ethereal youkai loves a plain girl, who seems to be rather strong in her own way, says much about his character. Too bad our own society´s perspective about real beauty is warped into such a sad state. That makes me enjoy reading about these characters even more.

Even if the group of children will get smaller, I hope some of them have still parents who live. Having good friends is important but nothing can replace your own family even if they are not perfect.

Yay, two new chapters!

I loved the meetings with Sess trusted allies. Awesome kitsune twins! I also liked Shinzuru a lot, and Resshin/Nanmei were pretty good. As for Kato, is he really dead? So sad...

I enjoyed Sess explaining his actions to Kagome. It's nice for him to show he's not a heartless killer.

And now I'm dying to see the court reactions!!! Fantastic job!

Just found this story...it is great!  Your character development is great, and there is so much depth in the story.  I like the slow development on the romance, it is more natural.  And I think your Sesshoumaru is just spot on.  I can't believe how many chapters you say are left - can't wait to read more!

WOW! Your chapters just keep getting better and better! Besides all the angst and tragedy I fairly sure this is one of my most favorite fanfictions of all time! Please keep up the amazing writting and posting chapters! I'm really looking forward to what happens in the coming chapters especially if Sesshoumaru gets pranked by one of the children (or at least they attempt to LOL)! I'm also glad that Kagome and Sango's attackers finally got what was coming to them and felt that Sessy did their offing justice. The conversations that Kagome and Sesshoumaru have are fun too, with the way they both interact and I can't wait for more chapters! Thanks for updating. This chapter was such a rollercoaster, every emotion present. I´m so glad that Kagome finally started to mourn for Inuyasha. Besides coping with the rape this was the other important next step for her. The generals sound fun and I was suprised that there are people with whom Sesshoumaru is more relaxed.

I didn´t understand why she was flipping out when Mokomoko came to her because I would be thrilled and would cuddle it until Sesshoumaru would demand it back but now I understand it better, she doesn´t want to be vulnerable, ever.

“Strong, quiet,” Sesshoumaru answered.

“Must be mute if you're calling him quiet,” She observed dryly. That made me laugh out loud. Glad that she has still her humour.

This chapter was so much fun! Espeically witht the twins and a drunk Kagome! LOL Keep up the great work and don't stress to much it'll get better! Can't wait for the next chapter but I hope it'll be up soon! :D

I'm still working my way through this, but I love the frank honesty and dark themes running through this, exploring an edgier, creuler world where things don't go to plan and the characters experience all the repercussions. This has been my reading material that has been keeping me sane these past two weeks! xD Dankeshun, aafd.
