I can't begin to tell you how much I absolutely loved this story! It was a fabulous idea wonderfully executed. You captured my imagination brilliantly and the more I read, the more I liked it! I thought it very clever of you to have so many references to cartoon characters which you wrote quite subtly yet caught every nuance that made them so recognizable.
I recognized some of them like Betty Boop and Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, Olive Oyl and Popeye were very recognizable. Kaede as Yogi Bear, lol Lord love a duck, what a thought! But you utterly slayed me with Ah-Un and his "sufferin' succotash". Shades of Sylvester indeed. Kouga would do well as a maniacal Jim Carrey incarnation and I can see Miroku as the Mad Hatter too. I know there were a couple more but I just couldn't put my finger on the answer I wanted. I know it's in the brain box somewhere, your characterisations were sooooo good but I just can't drag any more rabbits out of the hat!
I must admit the thought of Sesshoumaru with Pepe Le Pew's French accented romantic voice with all those amorous overtures.....mmm.....it was swoonworthy!!! I love your ending with Kagome waking up thinking it all just a dream and I was delighted that Sesshoumarou really was there next to her. Mmmmmm, lucky girl, am quite green with envy.
You did a great job here. You were succinct, spot on and totally amusing with a dash of knee weakening Sesshoumarou thrown in as well. Just loved it.
