I imagine the root keeps a child from being born. I hope she tells Kaede as she so obviously needs to tell someone. It's unfortunate that her night with Sess was so tarnished. It should have been a special experience. Perhaps, this was all just a terrible dream/coma after the last battle and when she wakes up (in Sess' care) she will take a different path and her and Sess can be together? 

I like the fact that you depict Kagome realisically.  I prefer it when she has depth and needs to figure things out

OMG I just started this story today and and caught up.  Talk about a turmol of emotion.  Wow I hope that Kagome can see the light in front of her eyes before it is too late.  The care that Sesshoumaru has shown her though the years has been sincere.  I hopes she learns quickly the ugly truth that InuYasha is not for her, before it is too late.  This chapter was amazing...way nice touch with the necklace...I nearly forgot about it.  Good job!

Another great chapter.  Can't wait to see what happens next.  Hopefully Kagome will put on her 'big girl panties' (even though I understand why she hasn't yet) and start fighting back.

I am very much in love with your story.it has a really good flow to it and keeps me surprised every time something angsty happens!

I've enjoyed reading this story, but I am waiting to find out what Inuysha's deal is... intimacy devoid of any sort of affection,  running off for days and returning drunk or beat up... is he trying to 'take responsibility' for Kagome even though he doesn't want to by creating outward trappings of a marriage, or keeping her away from Sesshoumaru even though he doesn't want her himself by making her think they are together?  He gets angry whenever he thinks his brother has been by, but he's giving Kagome no love himself.

I guess my questions will be answered in future chapters, so I will look forward to the next update.
