I actually cried when I read the part in the playground the first time I read this. The dialogue in this chapter is very nice :)

His laugh must be utterly amazing for Kagome to get aroused :O 

The breakfast sounds delicious -mouth is watering-. Kagome's gifts are so cute :) Though I'm wondering: did you pick 2012 on purpose instead of 2013? Or am I just misunderstanding it?

Muahaha, oh innocent Kagome, you're so naughty seducing Sesshoumaru like that, and without even realizing! The expression "to deflate the no doubt raging Little Sesshoumaru" had me laughing. 

I always feel a little bad for Kagura in the manga/anime, and this story is no exception. I do hope she will be freed from Naraku!

Inuyasha is being quite the matchmaker, isn't he? But he's doing a very good job, the sly hanyou.

I was totally thinking exactly the same thing when Inuyasha asks Sesshoumaru about his sleeping arm :D

Your food listings sound delicious, by the way, and they make me hungry. Also, I am wondering whether this story is taking place in Japan, or not a place specifically? Simple curiosity there. 

Nice title, by the way (as are the other titles, they are quite fitting). 

I like how your writing is fluid, descriptive but not too descriptive and mostly to the point.

Kagome is such a good and devoted person, which is described very neatly at the beginning of this chapter.

Just a small note: Toga says Inuyasha spent the last six years with Kagome, and then Inuyasha starts relaying about the things Kagome said in the five years they have known each other. 

And on we go!

The outburst by Kagome is very nicely portrayed: referring to a stuck up, self-important neurosurgeon and repeating the scene from the manga/anime with her name, I missed those details the first time reading it. 

I had actually never heard of 'European drinking chocolate' before (I live in Europe, oh the irony), but now i know what the difference is between hot chocolate and hot cocoa (yay! Though I still don't know why you would call it 'European'?). But thank you :D

Also, that is a cute way for inuyasha to make up for his... loud and unmannered behavior? 

Poor Inuyasha though, getting called on by Sesshoumaru for his own good. 

Now let us see what Toga has to say about the curse!

Oh dear, no Sango and Miroku in this story? Though I must admit I haven't really missed them, and with the way you're going (I'm only guessing that way), you probably don't need them. Must be great to have dog demon friends by the way -jealous-!

Oh, the story of Sesshoumaru's parents is so sad. I suppose you didn't label it 'dark' and 'angst' for nothing.

Kagome really is a big mess, isn't she? I feel so bad, knowing there are actually people out there who have experienced such. The world is such a cruel place sometimes.. 

By the way, you mention that men used to follow her around to see her smile when she was 18, but I recall from a later chapter she got Bell's Palsy at age 16, so I think there is some inconsistency here..? 

Which brings me to another point: you mention quite some medical terms in your chapters. Now it's not as if I'm too lazy to look it up, but perhaps you could consider adding more information about the less commonly known terms at the end or the beginning of the chapter? It's just a suggestion of course :)

Now back to the chapter:

Oh Kagome, everyone wants to be completed with that certain someone, and you actually get someone (heck, already met him even) who is your perfect match! 

I was a bit confused by the 'Serves me right for asking': who is thinking this?

And the talk with the dog demons begins! I can totally imagine the three of them sitting in Toga's office together. Now let's see what inupapa has to say about Sesshoumaru's mother ;)

Sorry if this review seems a bit messy: I'm reading the chapter and jotting down thoughts at the same time. 

Onigumo/Naraku gives me the creeps, but I can only suppose it's a good thing your writing makes him so scary, as we have ourselves an antagonist. 

Oh, poor Sesshoumaru, to have been rejected without even getting the chance to show how utterly delectable he is as a person :( Ah, I also love it when he gets all jealous over his chosen :D Though I do feel bad for Inuyasha, almost being strangled like that just because he's loved. Anyway, on to the next chapter!

Okay, so I discovered this story yesterday and have already read it like.. three times over now (can you imagine how much I am enjoying it?)? So about time I review every chapter :D

It's totally like Inuyasha to drag Kagome around and then open the door for him in a gentleman gesture. I love the interaction between Kagome and Inuyasha: it is written very naturally and quite IC compared to their manga/anime behavior :) 

The part about his hair being afraid of going against Sesshoumaru's will made me laugh. And wow, 6'10" is very, very tall :O I personally feel it's a bit too much, but maybe we shouldn't expect any less from him being the world's most powerful demon, after all. 

Muahaha, seeing Sesshoumaru speechless at the end was funny :D

Although I know what's going to happen, the introductory chapter was a good way to introduce our favorite pair and the favorite pair's best friend. I do think Inuyasha fits better as Kagome's best friend than her love, or dead, or alive and having run off with Kikyo and constantly bashing at Kagome that she's not as good as Kikyo, so this is a refreshing point of view in that light. Sesshoumaru fits quite well as the neurosurgeon too :) Now, to the next chapter!

Oh, Sweetie, I just went to your profile and read your bio. My heart breaks for you. I'm no stranger to abuse either but not so much as you. I was saved before any real damage could be done but I know the emotional stuff just hangs on what seems like forever. Absolutely, positively mesmerazing!!! I started this fic a few hours ago, and, oh my dear!! I just could NOT put it away!!!! I have been perfectly spellbound.

This is very well written, though I am not an English and grammar major. I do know that you did an awesome job with the present tense you used without going back and forth through other tenses unless necessary. (There aren't many writers that can pull that off so well.) Not many mistakes, or typos either. I have be perfectly well pleased. I didn't have to go back several times saying, "huh? What the heck...this kid is confusing with such bad grammar and punctuation! OK, let's reread this line one more time.". Nope, not once did this make me think, "oh my!". Great job.

Oh, and the storyline??? The descriptiveness throughout??? Reread my first line. I even bookmarked this! And by the way??...I just love your PenName!!! Hmmm, I'm seeing a pattern here...is there anything I didn't like??? I didn't get any of those made from scratch brownies.:( Sounded delicious!

I do have but one question though, did you purposely name Sesshoumaru's mother and Kagome's mother, Aiko, for a reason or was this a boo-boo?
