Wow that was a powerful ending.I understand the feeling you were reaching for there. Still hurting from a relationship that ended in October after looking back I feel as if he'd been stringing me along almost an entire year. But he was my friend before that how ironic.

Well done, Kagome. I think she definitely made the right decision, and in the end she made it the right way to: laid it all out as what is best and healthiest for her. 

I'm normally a happy-ending person too, but sometimes it just doesn't fit. This is one of those. 

I think Kagome is going to let him have it. I just hope she tells him that him being with Rin just drove the nail home in her hate for him. Since that was the moment when he finally broke her heart and left nothing but the bitterness, and emtyness she now feels for him. I mean how does he expect for her to keep forgiving him? it has to end at some point. I really hope she lets loose. I think it would be great for her emotionally if she just lets it all out. All the pain, anger, bitterness, and finally the emptyness she feels when with him now. Hope you update soon!:-)

I really like this story. However, not wanting this to sound like a flame, I really feel as if I am reading a Kagome/Inuyasha story. Sesshoumaru's persona reminds me so much of our hopeless, brash, and blind hanyou that we love. Still, I do enjoy the unique-ness of this story! (:

I'm with you.  Guy who knowingly tries to get somebody pregnant thinking to trap her into marriage deserves some punishment.  That kind of manipulation should not be allowed to perpetuate itself.  At the very least it proves he (the dirtbag in question) does not have what it takes to raise a child into a productive member of society.  He's the type to complain or attempt to "fix" a gay son or "girlify" a tomboy.  It's only proof that he love himself more than anyone else.  His heart is definitely not in the right place.

Besides which Seshoumaru "loves too easily". He throws the word around like it's candy, like it can magically cure whatever problem that arises.  He "loved" Rin.  He "loves" Kagome, as he's supposedly loved her since they first started this twisted companionship.  The only person he truly loves is himself as Kagome is aware.  More than aware as you wrote her.  ^_^

This is SOO not going to end well... I feel bad for Kagome and Sesshomaru, more so for Kagome. There is just too much bitterness, and anger I their realationship that i really dont think its going to work. I mean hes just manipulating her, to get what he wants.

I really hope that Kagome shows how much shes suffered, then maybe, maybe they can start over with a clean sheet, but i reall doubt it. I really cant wait for more!!

I dont know... if it was really a proposal because of possible pregnancy, or it he meant it as he said he planned to do that at dinner. Frankly, I'd be happy that a guy would want to take responsibility, but it'd be best not to jump the gun and make sure its the real thing... then regardless of the result, ask again. My ex-husband and I lived together and didn't marry until our son was 4 months old.

Okay, my guess is that you will throw the vase that was already cracked.

Like other reviewers had said, he didn't really change, still controlling, taking things for granted and most of all.... selfish. He deserves lots of suffering. He needs to live it, with regret and missery, in order to know whether or not he can live without her.
