So someone on ff.net has asked permission to translate one of my stories. This is a first for me so I'm putting a call out for advice. Should I allow this? If so how would it work? Anyone have experience with this?
Advice and opinions would be appreciated.

I've had this kind of a request to some of my one shots over the years and I've generally allowed them as long as they give me due credit and link back to the original story. I might be more hesitant if someone asked to translate a chapter story of mine, though, since they have generally been much more work. ^^;

But really, it all depends on what you want to do and if you feel comfortable with someone translating your story.

It is a chapter story, just five chapters I believe, so it's not a long chapter story.

Anyway, I had just decided to go ahead and give them permission, but then I checked their profile and really there's no profile to speak of. They have three fav authors and only my story that they wish to translate as a favorite. I'm not sure if I should be worried about that. They've been a member for a couple of years and you'd think they would have a bit more on their favorites list. Although, I know everyone is different.
Opinions would be appreciated everyone.
