I have been a beta on Dokuga for as long as I have been a member. I am proficient with not only finding pesky errors, but I teach the author's I assist so they can learn and make fewer mistakes in the future. Meaning, I do what many real editor's do. I will never erase a 'mistake/error' but make 'comments' on the side of Word documents that tell you where something is wrong, why it's wrong, and how to fix it.

I help with grammar, sentence structure, and keep an eye out that the plot and character development is consistent and believable.
