So it's been positively forever since I've done a challenge on here and as I'm going to be being more active I decided I'm going to do a challenge. The first thing will be ten word prompts and tokens and it'll either be weekly or sometimes multiple times a week.

Entries do not have to be new stories
They can be Oneshots, Oneshot collections, Drabbles, or Chapter stories
Stick to the mandated chapter allotments by Dokuga Rules.

So this week the prompts are as follows:

1. Stringcourse | a horizontal band or course, as of stone, projecting beyond or flush with the face of a building, often molded and sometimes richly carved.
2. Laurence | Physics. a shimmering effect seen over a hot surface, such as a pavement or roadway, on a clear and calm day, caused by the irregular refraction of light.
3. Thicken | to make or grow more intense, profound, intricate, or complex:
4. Huckster | a person who employs showy methods to effect a sale, win votes, etc.:
5. Secure | dependable; firm; not liable to fail, yield, become displaced, etc., as a support or a fastening:
6. Diplo | Double
7. Hyetal | of or relating to rain or rainfall
8. Extroversively | the state of being concerned primarily with things outside the self, with the external environment rather than with one's own thoughts and feelings.
9. Heartsickening | extremely depressed or unhappy.
10.Fetter | a chain or shackle placed on the feet.

If the challenge also applies for existing drabbles, I'd love to use the prompts to update some stories of mine.

Of course, that's what they are here for. There won't be an new prompts until around the 19th, I'm volunteering at Origins, a gaming convention in my state.
