Ahh, help? Fanfiction VS Spark 13 Years, 1 Month ago

Excuse my ignorant question, but I'm new to Dokuga. I posted a fanfic in that section and it's rated "MA" but then I went to Spark and that seemed to be similar fics. What is the difference between the two? Again, sorry if this seems silly :/

originally 'spark' as it's termed was a website by the name of "a single spark" it was Dokuga's original form. but it was far more costly and not near as cool. FFN though is fanfiction.net, a totally different website.
More then likly if you saw a fic on spark and FFN that are similar or the same, it was the same author posting it on two different sites.

No, I posted the story on here. I posted it in the "Fanfiction" category on Dokuga. But there is also a "Spark" category at the top. You've read my story, which one should it be in? haha
Or does it not matter?

Actually, technically, A Single Spark was a totally separate website that was started and run by ~Winter~. Dokuga was created and run by Miss Kagura, and was in existence prior to A Single Spark closing and becoming a Read Only archive. When ~Winter~ closed A Single Spark, she offered the archive of stories to be hosted here on Dokuga, and Miss Kagura accepted, thankfully!!
It is because of ~Winter's~ generosity and Miss K's expertise that we have access to the A Single Spark stories at all.

A Single Spark is no longer available to post stories to... it is a Read Only Archive. The only place you can post stories is on the Dokuga Fanfiction pages.
