This project is a community effort.

We have a Discord, we come together on sites like Dokuga, and then there's the podcast.

The Podcast is a weekly running series, where 3 fics are read each week (updated on a schedule, daily, for 3 days out of the week); there is also a monthly discussion cast where I come together with members of the community to discuss happenings within the fandom. Each of the podcasts run about 30 minutes.

This is an awesome idea! I would offer to do some voice recordings except my accent's pretty mangaled, I mummble, speak faster than the speed of sound and, thanks to my braces, now have a tendency to lisp or stutter.

But I'm looking forward to seeing if this idea takes off or not. ^^

WELL! I do need some lovely people to help me manage the uploading when I'm not around and stuff. XD So we can keep to a schedule.

Please remember to breathe when reading, and keep a glass of water handy. XD I don't know how the books on tape people do real books so seamlessly. XD

And don't worry about how old you sound. XD <3 It'll be amazing.

Recordings of books aren't done all the way through in one sitting - it's just that the many, many different recordings are then blended with sound software so seamlessly that you just can't tell the difference. But rest assured, those places you think the author is pausing? It was actually the author stopping.

So, that in mind, don't try to read a whole fanfiction all at once! Just do chapters, that should make things fairly easy for you. Find someone with a Mac and iMovie to mesh the sound files, and you will have it a little easier.

fanfic readings do not have to be done all by one person. you could get a partner to voice sesshomaru, or even a narrator... the sky is certainly not the limit!

I would love to have my work be featured. However, I am not sure my work is something you would want read. -I write some pretty dark fanfics lol

It really depends on the people who volunteer to read, honestly.

So I went to see the project and am amazed at how nice it is. I love the Wishing Well!
You all are doing a great job. I can say it's an awesome idea! I can fold laundry and listen to my favourite fics!!
You have my permission to add my fics if interested. I don't have many since I am relatively new to the fandom but you're welcome to what I have. Since English isn't my mother tongue I don't suggest my help as reader lol! But thx for doing this!
