Good work, but I think the shading is off, consider the image is set at night, what looks like to be outside. It would fit if it was in front of a window inside a lit room at night. For the darkness in the background the foreground seems way too bright. Thus the shadows on Kagome and Sesshy are too minimal, thus they're very bright. I think set on a sunny day the shading would make more sense to me. They would be brighter in contrast because of the extra light.
I do like the shading on Kagome's hair though. You have a good grasp of the progression of colours, especially for shading, although I think the light-sourcing might be a bit off. I'm not actually sure where the light is coming from inside the image. Above I think, but it could be from the side or below too.
Still a good piece of work.
Thank you so much. I was thinking the same thing about the shading, I couldn't figure out what to do for the background after what I had done with the odd lighting. But I had fallen in love with it already and didn't want to change it. The background on the other hand... Thanks for the idea my friend. I'll try redoing the background.
