Description:

Well, this is a little bit of concept art for a new story I'm working on in addition to The Phoenix Flight. This is in no way related to the recent movie Black Swan, except the fairy tale part, of course.

I was just listening to Tchaikovsky the other day and looking at the post on Skye's Reinventing the Classics challenge and thought "Hm, we all know what happens to the White Swan...but what happened to the Black Swan?'

My new story will be exploring the Black Swan and her story.

Kagome, of course, will be cast as the Black Swan. I'm excited to post my story, which will hopefully end up on Dokuga soon.

Aside from all that, this is a very beautiful piece, and while I don't often go exploring into the art section (I know, I have probably missed a great deal of beautiful pieces) this one caught my eye and so here is my long winded 'I LOVE IT!'

Mercedes Lackey is a fantasy genius. The sheer amount of work she has produced could give Danielle Steele a run for her money.

I am very intrigued about the idea about Kagome as Odele. I think her personality (insecurities) and such could really compliment this role. But who will Sesshoumaru be? The Prince (hard to believe, since he seems like a air-headed fool in every version I've read)?

Ponder, Wonder, Anticipate, TORTURE! Can't wait!
