Kagome scowled as Sesshoumaru walked ahead of her, his long legs silently and swiftly gliding through the forest. She glared at his back, watching his white-silver hair gleam in the sun like a sparkling mass of woven diamond. She felt herself slightly become entranced by the beauty of the glistening strands as they swayed with his steps.
'I wonder what type of shampoo he uses.' She pondered.
Suddenly, she felt herself tugged forward. Yelping, she stumbled and felt herself fall. To her horror, Sesshoumaru continued to stride forward, ignoring her shouts at him to stop. She was dragged through the dirt and rocks.
"HEY! Sesshoumaru! Stop! Ow ow ow!" The miko yelped as a rock dug into her side as she was dragged over it.
Abruptly the dog demon stopped. Kagome laid on the ground for a moment. Anger washed over her and within seconds she was pushing herself off the ground. Her sapphire eyes sparkling furiously, she snarled impressively at the inu youkai.
"What is your problem!" She screamed.
Slowly Sesshoumaru turned his head to the side, peering at her over his shoulder. His icy gold eyes regarding her with blatant loathing, a sneer appeared on his upper lip.
"You, wench." He bit back frostily.
Kagome growled and held up her right wrist. She shook it insanely in the air.
"Do you honestly think I'm enjoying this situation any more than you? Do you really believe that I want to be chained to your arrogant, self-centered self?" The small miko demanded hotly, her face burning red.
Sesshoumaru's glare intensified. With a flick of his high-held cranium, his hair fluttered in the air as he presented his back to her in a display of outright disinterest.
"I do not care, miko, if this situation is preferable to you or not. Your disgusting hide is a nuisance that Fate has been kind enough to protect from my claw." He stated dryly.
He glanced at her again from over his shoulder.
"Consider yourself lucky girl." He said coldly.
Kagome yelped when she felt herself tugged forward again when Sesshoumaru then randomly began walking forward but this time much faster. Scowling, she jogged behind him to try and keep up. She didn't want another face full of dirt.
