Kagome leaned forward, her hand gliding up the silken cheek of the daiyoukai; his flesh was like hot satin. His scent filled her nose and instantly she melted inside. His large claw with its deadly talons grasped her upper arm gently. The knowledge that he could easily shred her to pieces did not worry her. Her lips moistened with the tip of her tongue, the girl pressed her eager lips to his other cheek.

The small kiss began to trail down to his angular jaw, to his pointed chin and then, finally, she hovered her mouth over his pale lips. She panted softly, her blue eyes glistening with warmth as she stared down into those liquid pools of gold.

"Kagome." She heard him murmur in his deep voice, a slight husky edge to its usually smooth timbre.
