"That felt great" said Kagome as she bathed in the hot spring that Inuyasha had pointed out to her earlier. "I haven't felt this relaxed since I sat Inuyasha to hell for not letting me go home."

Completely unaware of the figure lurching in the shadows watching her from the treetops, Kagome leaned back and started to hum lightly as she began washing her hair. He had seen her before, and watching her like this had started to become a tasteless habit that he would never admit to anyone. She was the only female that he had every come across that could attract him with her defiant nature. So strong spirited and hard headed, that's what she was and so much more.

Most female, youkai or ningen, would either recoil in fear or try their hardest to seduce him and get him in bed, be it for his wealth, title or just his body. No, instead she had pointed an arrow at him in attempts to kill him. Although with her aim, she could never hope to kill him but nonetheless she had stood her ground and stared at him defiantly in the eyes. That courage alone was to be admired whether it was courage or foolishness.

He could not get her of his mind. He did not want to fight his brother anymore but he fought him just to catch a glimpse of her. Though she was not overly beautiful, when she gave someone that innocent smile of hers it was as if her face would just glow.

Oh! How he, Sesshoumaru, Taiyoukai of the West, would find so much pleasure in corrupting that smile into a smirk of seduction. Too many nights has he lied in bed, pleasuring himself, thinking of the different types of techniques he could teach Kagome to perform on him to help relieve the stress from his long and lonely days.

Just off to the left of her perpetual sight she could make out the silhouette of her stocker. The demon was tall, sleek, and muscular.

'Oh my Gosh, that demon looks like the same one that has been following me for the past month and a half. What the hell does he want from me.'

Oh yes. Kagome knew that a demonic aura had been following her for sometime but she was never able to pinpoint who the youkai was. What little train she had, with Kaede- sama, could tell her that much.

That was until the figure took the shape of Sesshoumaru. 'Oh well. At least I know the person that is going to kill me and then I can haunt him for the rest of his life' thought Kagome as she tried to find a way to get out of the spring with out flashing Sesshoumaru.

Finding no way out of this she decided that she would find out what he wanted so that he could leave. It was obvious that he wanted something or he would have just killed her.

"What do you want because Inuyasha is obviously not here for you to fight with!" she said with as much indifference as she could considering that she was naked in a hot spring before him.

"This Sesshoumaru has not come here for the hanyou, but I am curious, where has my dear half brother gone"

"Out there somewhere with that clay pot of his, where else." She said with sorrow clearly visible in her voice.

"So you are all alone with no one to aid you if a demon attacks," he said with obvious sarcasm in his voice.

"I'm not all that weak with out Inuyasha. If I am attacked, I can defend myself!" she said with so much passion that she was starting to believe herself too.

"Really. So if I decide to kill you, you will be able to hold me off until someone can come and help you." said Sesshoumaru looking straight into her eyes.

"I never said that I would be able to fight you cause that would be suicide but that does not mean that I would not try," said Kagome as she search for a rock in the hot spring that she could just throw at his pretty little head.

"What would you do miko if I told u that I could protect you and care for your needs." said Sesshoumaru as he watched for her reaction.

"And why would you do that for me, I thought that you detested humans," Kagome said trying to make sure that he was not joking because she was seriously considering his offer.

'Sesshoumaru would protect me and he would never leave me for a zombie. But what about Inuyasha?' she thought silently.

"I can't even if I wanted to. There are the jewel shards to think about and I have to keep Inuyasha from hurting my kit, Shippo and I can't just leave my friend like this without saying goodbye I just cannot!" she said to Sesshoumaru as well as trying to convince herself.

"Is not the hanyou in his human form because of the full moon?"

"Yes, but you can't attack him because that would be dishonorable" exclaimed Kagome.

"That is not what I intended, miko. I was going to say that since the hanyou is unfit to protect you as of now that you could come with this Sesshoumaru for the time being and not only will I protect you but we will also have some fun as well." He said with a mischievous gleam in his eye.

'Why does that look make me feel so naughty,' thought Kagome as she looks at him closely for any signs of deceit.

Nevertheless, there was none so with a sigh she said, "Okay but only for tonight and on the condition that you turn around you don't peak while I change."

"Agreed" said Sesshoumaru as he turned around and mumbled something about humans and their modestly. But that past as he heard Kagome gets out of the water. Listening as she dried herself off and wished he was that towel at this very moment instead of being this Sesshoumaru.

'I will soon have you withering on top of me, my innocent little miko.' thought Sesshoumaru as his arousal became quickly noticeable.
