This has been a very cute and funny chappie. I love how Mariko got to see the soft side of Sesshou and sees why Kagome loves him so much. I can't wait to see what other interesting things they'll be doing on their trip. Now I wonder when Kagome will find out about the few attempts at her life? Will she be angry for being left out of the loop? And will the body guards get a taste of her temper? Keep up the good work and update soon :P

Kagome needs to ask some questions now. Doesn't Sesshoumaru realize she would be safer if she knew, at least somewhat, what was going on. Personally, I think Sesshoumaru should just kill everyone who gets near Kagome, maybe that would make the assasins think twice! ;) Great update!

Thanks for letting me know the update was here as well. Very easy story telling, good dialog, and great on the details. I like the detail about the palace---I had been there, and it brought back good memories. Good thing Kagome makes friends easily--much to the delight of her husband (at times) and to the surprise of the security detail. Looking forward to the next chapter. Brego Whitecloud
