Wow! excellent chapter, so filled with emotions. I read your other story and while it was good I can say that you have made vast improvements in your writing and grammar. Take for example this chapter, you were able to show the the complex emotions of each individuals as they fought with their consciences of taking the children's lives. I would never want to have to make a decision like that for obvious reasons. Tora was the voice of reason as he could tell that Sessh did not really want to kill the kids, however, he knew that his friend would not stop him once he moved to destroy them. Survival can be a two edged swore. As you wrote and stated accurately, if they had left the dragonlings alive after witnessing their clan's demise by the them, it could spell disaster for them in the future. Inuyasha left because he could not land a killing blow against them and he did not want to stay and be a witness to such cruelty, however, he also said that they would grow up to become the hideous and heartless beings that they'd hunted and killed earlier.
I have a feeling that Sesshomaru may have left them alive if Tora did not kill two of them off so easily. He was there long enough before the others joined him and he did not move to strike them down. He felt sorry for them because they were children and he is a father, and Kagome's influence on him have changed him some more for the better. He rationalized that they might be able to lead a different life if they were brought up with good morals. You did not state specifically that he killed the last child, you only stated that his other hand glowed green...and when the deed was done he carried the boy's body to the cave. I wonder what that really means? You are a very clever writer and I am waiting anxiously for the next chapter. I liked the parts in this chapter where Kagome was in it as well.
Aviva (Chapter 80) - Wed 12 Mar 2014
I am relieved that they got there in time, but now they have dragons to hunt. I like the interaction between Shippo and Sesshomaru, they seem like kindred spirit now. Great job.
Aviva (Chapter 79) - Wed 12 Mar 2014
I had to leave a little review after reading so many chapters trying to catch up. I like how the story is progressing because you can see how all the events are coming together for the prophesy to unfold. Don't know what it will be, but I can hardly wait. Great writing.
Sad for them to kill all those kids, keep it coming.
Wow...just wow... They killed them off he He he
Great, keep it coming.
Like the chapter, keep it coming.
Haven (Chapter 79) - Sun 23 Feb 2014
Goodness, there is just no real reprieve from trials and tribulation for this family:( I'm just wondering why had they not reached out to the human emperor before in the short time of peace especially given Kagome's knowledge of the future...or had they? Not sure if that was mentioned. Thanks for updating.
Shaneka (Chapter 79) - Sun 23 Feb 2014
