I love this story! This is definitely one of my favorites. I love the plot and  character development. i also love the side stories with the other characters. Although I love the Kag/Sessh story, the side stories made me love the other supporting characters just as much. you've also balanced this out wonderfully. 

i can not wait for the next chapter....I am chomping at the bits to find out the development between Kag/Sessh.

Kinky.  Seriously.  I'm wondering if I should be cheering on Haru too and not just Sesshy and Sai.  Kagome's gathering a fan-club.  I wonder if Sesshy likes to share, though I sincerely doubt that he does.  A youkai that powerful would be a bed and Kagome-hog.  He already slapped a sign on her backside that's 'Property of Sesshy' with that youki-sinking through oral orifice stunt.  Although she seems to be ignorant of her own attractiveness to Youkai.  It must be the power-thingie with the Shikon or her nature of being kind, which would be odd for a human and a Miko at that.

If Kagome doesn't fear youkai considering that she's a Miko and Human makes her interesting.  The fact that she's single makes her available.  The fact that she doesn't auto-fry youkai when she meets them also makes her highly unusual, or, Sai and Sesshy like walking the wildside a little too close for comfort.

O__O Holy Kami in a Box!  That's like a precursor to marriagy-nesh, or at least the youkai version of a wedding ring.  He didn't even explain to her what he was doing!  Sneaky Sesshy!  I cannot believe his audacity, though I can't help but be tickled pink by it.  Excuse the pun.  XD.  He's naughty!  He's gone and put like a barcode on Kagome's backside saying like 'Property of Sesshoumaru' after sinking his youki into her through a 'hole in her face' aka her mouth.  Is that even sanitary?  Not that I would have been complaining with that much gorgeousness in my lap.

I find Haru's reaction to Kagome quite interesting.  She knows that Kagome is a Miko, not neccessarily the Shikon Miko, and doesn't react with anything, not even surprise.  It's almost as if Sesshoumaru's strength is what she trusts in, completely, as if the presence of a youkai's mortal enemy within the walls of his home, is inevitably nothing to be worried about.  This could play out as one of two things:

A - Those that serve Sesshy are in complete trust of his strength and prowess, so the presence of a Miko in his castle is nothing that he can't handle, thus they have nothing to worry about,

OR

B - Those that serve Sesshy are ignorant of what Miko are, what they can do, and how dangerous they can be.

I find that quite intriguing.

Good.  I can see a little better to how Sai's memories reflect on her relationship/interactions with Isamu, though the impact is delayed into another chapter, it does reduce the last chapter's relevance a little.  However, the balance that you do have with the characterisations of Kagome's friends is spot on.  I particularly like how Miroku talks Sango down from attacking Sai.  I do wonder if Sai might be of an influence in some way, shape, or from with Shippo, hence with both being Fox youkai.

An interesting development, as is Sai's seeming insistence that Kagome is 'hers'.  It does portray a sense of ownership over the Miko, whether that is in friendship or a physical claim on her, at this point is unknown.

Good chapter intro.  I particularly liked Sai's introspectiveness when she thought of Kagome.  It shows a lot about her as a character, kinda sad with a deeper edge to her, showing that she's not two dimensional.  I did find her memories, posted one after the other, jarring, as they seem to come out of nowhere without connecting Sai to either think about them or mull each memory over.  The memory descriptions were good, but the loss of Sai as a character being able to reflect on the memories individually, seems to diminish the impact and importance of each memory to Sai as a character.  It seems to me that the experiences she had endured have defined her as a character, but the significance of each memory seems less... important than it really should be.

Sai seems to get lost in the narrative of the chapter as we read through the memory sections.

This story is amazing in all the right ways....:) I hope for more great chapters ahead...
