The best chapter ever!  For sweetness, I liked the part about the race to the pile of leaves.  And Sesshomaru's gift of a guitar was perfect, as well as the fact that he does not want Rin to change.  After such a darling chapter, the end hit me like a bucket of ice water.  Excellent writing!

I am so happy that you posted another chapter! I enjoyed the playful side of Sesshomaru with the racing to the leaf pile.....I can just see him smirking!  I think you did a wonderful job in describing detail the party, gifts and the animals and how to take care of them.

I was surprised at the end of the chapter the letter she received...GASP!!!! I hope she opens up to Sesshomaru and he comforts her!

Just read the latest chapter.  I was very excited to see that you had updated!  I am very curious to find out more about this Mason fellow and I do hope that Kagome isn't too torn apart by his parole.  Your portrayal of emotion is simply wonderful and I really commend you on that.  Oh, and thanks because my husband is presently downloading Misfits - The Best Of The Danzig Era (1977-1983) - LOL!!!  Keep on writing, you do a wonderful job!!

A very interesting begining that leaves the reader wanting more. The way you write makes the characters very relatable, yet still remaining in character. Very good job describing the surreal feeling of an unexpected death. I am eagar to read more :).

Wonderful chapter. As usual. I love how you write the characters, and Kagome and Sesshoumaru's little thoughts stuck in there make it seem that much more real. I started reading this entire story yesterday.  Between multiple bouts of laughter and crying, I've found another favorite story.

I hope Kagome let's Sesshoumaru in! Kagome seems emotionally hurt in so many ways and I think Sesshoumaru is just the guy to fix that! I hope there is more jealousy from Sesshoumaru...a jealousy Sesshoumaru is a good Sesshoumaru(lol, or at least that is what I have read and liked)! Great set of chapters!!

There are many things I enjoyed about this particular chapter, namely:

- Sesshoumaru's costume. Heh. I had a feeling Kagome's gonna dress him up like that.

- Kagome's past addiction to spicy things. Seafood tom yum with pieces of crushed bird's eye chilli rocks my socks. Clears the sinuses too. ;-p

- The tentative, cautious tiptoeing these two are doing around one another when it comes to taking their friendship and feelings to the next level.

- The word 'sustainability' because it hit a mental tripwire of memories. For a good few seconds, I had to stop reading because I was back in the mad, mad era of coffee-fueled days and nights, full of endless drawings, detailing, tenders, meetings, deadlines, project schedules overlapping ... I could even hear the sound of plotters working overtime and smell the wet concrete again. Nostalgic in an rather unhealthy way. Hehe.,.
