She needs to stop the pity party, running from everything, and at least start thinking on rebuilding her emotional life, otherwise, as Mom said, the evil guys will won. I have finally reached the end and have to wait for the next chapter like everybody else. I hate when that happens. Im surprised that you have found something to constantly be in their path. There are (small) moments of good and happiness which is good and always looked forward to. Wonderful writing on this long pathway of healing and growth for everybody. I can't wait to see what happens next :)

Ahh...poor Sesshomaru. What a way to start to really realize things...

I think this chapter had moments of hotness, moments of funniness and ultimately moments of beauty.  I think both are starting to see the other as more.  It might be a long road, but it's one they have begun to travel together! As always I just want more!! LOL

OH MAN!! At times I feel so bad for Kagome about certain things and sometimes just want to punch Sesshoumaru in the head if he could just come out with things it would just be so much better lol. Honestly I thought the second part to the mating ceremony was going to be a lot worse but thankfully it wasn't and I'm sure the Kagome in your head for RUTH apprieciates it. Great job! You have no idea how much I look forward to seeing this and Convival (sorry for not reviewing in a while on that one) updated becuase I've been trying to back off from fanfiction for a little while with college trying to steal my soul but these are pretty much the only two Sess/Kags fiction that I really want to read! I look forward to the next chapter and keep up the awesome writing! 

P.S. just wondering how long is RUTH? and is there going to be a sequel (I'm guessing "no" but just thought I'd ask?)

To be absolutely honest, I'm an in depth reviewer. I'm the type that keeps open a word document while I read, jotting down observations here and there.

And it is shocking to find that I have nothing to critique about this story. I love every single part of what you have so far. I love the bitter Sango - you made me want to kill her, sheesh! - I love your depictions of Sesshomaru and Kagome, I love Shinzuru the best! And I'm waiting breathlessly for the next chapter.

I enjoy his mother greatly. haha. She brings a source of change into the life you have created for Kagome and Sesshomaru. The fact that Kagome has the courage to stand up to such a strong person shows how you have made her grow and how she is becoming more comfortable in her skin. 

I love how Shinzuru has taken so well to being her father figure, he has become one of my favorite characters in this fiction. It makes me smile how you are including him more and more.

Im so in love with your story. Sesshomeru's and Kagome's friendship is so well written that I love it even more. I want them to be together so badly but Kagome's rape is still hanging over her head like a shadow barely forgotten and Sesshomeru would never really be together with her like that cause he knows she hasnt forgotten and wants to protect her. *Sigh* So well written, so much going on. Im in love with all the characters including your OC's. I would leave a review for ever chapter but I think you would get tired of seeing my name pop up lol. I actively refresh this page everyday to see if there is an update. Please conintue and update soon. Ahh! that was pretty entertaining, I love Yuugao! 

It's building up, the conflict is so entrapping. It reminds me of the feeling I would get watching the anime when it originally aired on Adult Swim and the many cliff hangers!

I think I've said this is my favorite chapter more than once!! LOL Oh how I love this story! Shinzuru is a wonderful father! I love the relationship between Kagome and Sesshoumaru the friendship is growing as fast and as strong as the tree in her inner world.  I think after seeing that painting Sesshoumaru is starting to acknowledge that he may be develping deeper feelings for Kagome than he ever thought possible.  I know Kagome care for him, but the violence of the recent past has hurt her in so many ways.  Will she be able to overcome and find romantic happiness? My God this is terrific! Can't wait until next Wednesday!!!
