First of all, thanks for the update! Woooo!

While reading Maemi's POV, I can't help but think that she's very Onigumo/Sara-like. Her love for Sesshoumaru is an obsession, and I wouldn't put it past her that if a group of demons caught wind of her situation, Maemi would accept the offer foolishly just to exact vengeance and gain his love (which will never happen). I kind of feel sorry for her, but she brought this on herself. Sesshoumaru has been upfront that their union is merely political since day one. He even said that he doesn't hate her and was quite sympathetic of her plight but then again, it wasn't enough for someone who was taught the world revolved around her just because she's a princess. Now she's gonna learn a lesson the hard way and gonna pay for it in the worst way possible because Sesshoumaru's wrath is something you don't wanna be directed at you, ever.

Now the stage is set, I am looking forward to Kagome and Maemi's first meeting, and her subsequent reaction when she realize that Kagome is not some commoner priestess after all. And that Sesshoumaru is not really overseas and was just concealing himself waiting for the right moment to strike.

Another awesome chapter. Maemi's pov really got to me cos if she only got Naraku's cunning and motivation, she would no doubt be able to pull everything off and will be a formidable opponent for Sesshoumaru and Kagome.

You know, Maemi's mind is not far from that of an obsessed murderer. She is so used to have all her whims fulfilled that she could not accept that her marriage would be one for political purposes only, she wanted her little world to be perfect, with a loving and devoted husband and a happilly ever after, with everyone pampering her to no end. She could not accept that her life would not be how she envisioned so, in her mind, her actions against Kagome are totally justified, for she is the cause of all her misfortune and, with Kagome's death, Maemi feels that Sesshoumaru will be finally free to love her unconditionally and give her the family that she wants, and, at the same time, punish his children for mistreat her. It's so like the schemes displayed on ID Channel. She failed to understand that life is not always the way we want it to be and, like Sesshoumaru, she should have sacrificed and put duty before happiness. But now, finally, all the players are set up and I'm anxiously waiting for the release of Sesshoumaru's fury against Kagome's tormentors, the punishment dealt to that spoilt princess and, who knows, the reaction of everyone involved at the revelation of the true identity of Kagome as the Shikon Miko. Great chapter, can't wait for the next.

Love the chapter, can' t wait for the next chapter. I'm so sad that it will all co.e to an end soon.

Dear Moonlight, this was oh so delicious to read. I commend you on finding just the perfect plot and putting it into play. I could feel the tension and hate. Kagome's fear was so painstakingly real that even my own stomach turned from the thought of it alone. Poor Kagome. She's been through so much in her life but I think this must be the worse for her. Her only comfort will be knowing that Aiko and the twins are safe with Sayoka. Aiko is safe, right? It would make things more difficult if she was somehow picked up with Kagome. Maemi was out to get even with her too.

I knew that when Sesshoumaru said "Kagome" to the princess that he was in effect handing her over to the Emperor's and Princesses' wrath, thus beginning his plan to secure their lives and those of his species.  It's good that Shippo is so good at shapeshifting. I had even thought of that one myself but then thought he couldn't do it alone. I hope that he'll find some way to secure his mother into knowing that he's there with her and that help is just a short time away.

It was a brillant idea to use the doctor as the one who would make Kagome use her power to heal. She could have a difficult time not reaching out for a stranger, but when it's someone she cares for, Kagome won't allow anyone or thing to stop her. It's just her way.   JEN

Omg I've been away from my computer for some time now and I come back to you putting me on the edge of my seat!!!!!! Ugh that stupid princess has no idea the shiz storm she has just unleashed upon herself and her family!!! Its typical kagome but can she ever just do as she's told and just sit down somewhere lol. But it's ok I know sesshomaru has something delicious planned for the idiots who think they can pull a fast one over him. Im so excited for what comes next. I have a feeling your story is nearing its end but I can definitely say it has been an awesome ride!!!! Please update soon :)

Great great great new updates thanks so much for making what happened between Kagome and the doctor a nightmare and replacing it with a much needed lemon between husband and wife... Plz kill off the princess soon and Sesshomaru do it nice and slow and bloody lol

I love how this chapter subtly shows the contrast between Dr. Tanaka's love for Kagome and Maemi's "love" for Sesshoumaru. The other loves Kagome enough to let go, while the other is just plainly obssessed. Maemi, you snake, stop with the 'love' crap please. Your mom even hates you right now, you're not convincing anyone.

And now the pieces are finally falling into place. Looking forward to both parties' plans. I'm honestly scared that Sesshoumaru is gonna be outmaneuvered due to the information Aiko accidentally leaked. My fingers are crossed though. Sesshoumaru has a thousand years experience with these kinds of things and Kagome is not a stuck up, spoiled, pampered princess and can actually kick major ass. Ha! I look forward to the day when someone tells Maemi about Kagome, besides being Sesshoumaru's beloved mate, but what she actually is and what she is capable of doing.

An update? Massive thanks are in order!

First half of the chapter is very tension-filled it feels like it belongs to a thriller. Jealous Sesshoumaru is frightening! Knowing his nature, the dream version probably isn't too far off from the real one and I'm glad it's only a nightmare.

One thing I noticed, and he  said it in the previous chapter, that he knows humans love affection and physical contact, hence his invitation to Maemi to share his bed. Stress must've made him forgot that Kagome is a human too and has the same needs and wants. I'm just relieved and happy that Sesshoumaru finally realized this and is feeling regretful for not giving it much thought. A scenario of Kagome finding someone new must've popped up in his head during his epiphany, lol.

I love how you write their lemon. It's so emotionally-charged and sensual and just so very beautiful. Sesshoumaru informing her of his plans and encouraging her was a wonderful gesture cos she needs all the reassurance that she can get. Speaking of plans, I'm looking forward to know more about his trap, and how he will counter whatever wicked plans his wife and the emperor are plotting. The emperor arriving a month later makes me wonder if the opposing side is already mobilizing.

So, now the princess knows exactly where Kagome is and she plans to pass this information to her brother with a "slightly modified" details. it would be nice if, with his advanced hearing, Sesshoumaru overhears that little talk between them both and thus be able to set up his own trap.
